If it has to be earned;

It isn't love

If it has to be returned;

It isn't love

If it needs a reason;

It isn't love

If it needs a season.

Love is one of the attributes of God'.
Hence it is ALWAYS unconditional, impersonal, forgiving, understanding, bestowing, sharing, giving....without any expectation of a return.
Anything short of these virtues is transactional, a deal....not love.
