Missed

How often I've failed

to mind the mind,

got swept away by

its stories. 

Ignoring moments

as they come

Then chasing them

as memories.

I thought,

life was unlimited 

Not knowing 

it happens now.

Ever trying to

control each outcome, 

I was living

Never ever knowing how.
