I do not know
Why the day is so important,
But is auspicious
As I’ve heard people saying
It being free from all defects astrologically,
A religious holiday and celebration
Bringing good fortune, good luck,
Good deeds to do or begin
For some enterprises and undertakings
For business and commerce,
New investments and trade
For something to buy and bring home
To pray to Vishnu and Lakshmi,
To think of Parashuram Jayanti too.
