Theme: Reminiscence

Nostalgia

Scorching Sun reminds all
Dog days are back again
Shadows shorten, daylight stretches,
Unmindful of Sun and sweat
Children play merrily
Ignoring cautions of elders in A.C. rooms.
Roads turn playgrounds…
Where are grounds to play, except to wrangle?
Tall structures yearning to kiss sky
Sprout like ugly demons all around.
For gleeful children celebrating vacation time
Noontime glare is shower of moonlight.
Kishore Da sings wistfully:
“Give back to me my bygone days….”

Comment Truly bygones are bygone now. Nostalgia is quite natural.
Congratulations and best wishes
