The atoms in my body 

Connect me to stars. 

The sunlight falling on me 

Connects me to the Sun. 

The rain falling on me 

Connects me to clouds. 

The food I'm eating 

Connects me to the Earth. 

The water I'm drinking 

Connects me to oceans. 

The words I'm writing 

Connect me to people. 

I've connections sublime, 

Spanning all time. 

I'm connected to my maker, 

My constant caretaker.
