Shine all they when shown,
When at bottom, they remain hidden,
Though diamond, the most precious jewel
If it is seen, its dazzles are to gladden,
When eyelashes let it be shone.
A baby in the womb like the bud
With its tender parts safely in tiny fold,
With its vocal cords to sing are calm and quiet
Unshown is even its complexion of gold,
Unseen wonders of gems stud.
A book is silent when shut,
It speaks volumes when its pages open,
It lets its contents known to inquisitive minds,
Its heart is the matter, the author liked to pen,
It is the best companion, in a size cut.
Some fruit is seen from a distance,
Appearing ripe in shine makes it clear,
For its substance is soft to the palate indeed,
It opens the taste buds, everything dear,
What and how it is not by glance. |
