Rushing to the shore; 

Wave after wave 

Continues to implore: 

Tell me what's ahead 

Beyond the sea—

What can be said, 

Please tell me. 

Wave after wave

Seeking land; 

Wave after wave 

Continues to demand: 

I want to know 

What's beyond the seawall; 

I want to go 

And find out all. 

Wave after wave 

Wants to rise higher;

Wave after wave 

Has one desire: 

I want to go to places 

Where I have never been 

So I can occupy spaces 

That I have never seen.
