Greedy eyes on Greenland
turn white into dark
Most peaceful land
faces the imperial bark.

Who could ever imagine
this unobtrusive, sleepy state
unknown to world’s dirty dishes
would become the favorite plate?

Nature’s pristine gift
floating on glaciers
lying in a hidden corner
attracts the devil’s slit.

When the protector
turns the predator
when the savior
turns the grabber
even the lambs
would turn wolves
even the dead
would rise from the graves…

The dragon must know
Freedom is sacred.
No glitz or power
can force their bow.

They would write in red
their love for freedom.
Their valor would earn
them medals in history’s thread.
