It has been a long, long time
an evening painted with gold, its setting sun
I have crossed many a morning yet lost.
History was never written, nobody knew
once this soil too loved me.
A long time, the once-filled river has dried.
A long time, I have lost a love incomplete.
Never had I looked back in this life’s long journey
The pain of having loved and loved.
Some photos are hung on the wall, and some are of pain
some rain drops on our heads and some on an umbrella
some washed away our tears and then the comfort.
Once, even a sparrow loved me.
Time has increased our measured distances.
Our love seems lessened and so do her letters.
I remember her face in the long last horizon.
If we do ever meet, will she still love me again?
