Kolkata nights
Seem to be still
The elderly rickshaw puller
Sleeps in his many
Dreams
Of happiness and loneliness

Kolkata has a heart
And it beats like anyone of us

Hearing the beats one understands
Galaxies
And a recurring star
Impinging in many dreams

Nights give way
To mornings and more
Gossips
And news who has passed away last night
Finally touching the
Eternal sky.
