When innocents die and infants starve
Blame the silent critiques lacking nerve
No demagogue thrives long without these
No rogue rules but for these

When tepid a majority never matters
A citizenry wrapped in self falters
Race, Colour, God score as masters
Sufferers all are due to quitters

What if it's your own:
When one is maimed
When a toddler cries
When a house burns
When life is wasted?
