The nights that seemed to speed away
Now crawl along and hold their sway.
In youth, being old looked far away
Being old now, pleasures sped away.
We squander life's 'frees' an evil tendency,
Yet later, remorse is of no currency.
To know life has value is no brilliancy.
Serving life is a true leader's credency.
As with self, the world is at large,
Stupidity divides us, by and large.
May equality dawn on this human race,
For peace brings prosperity to every place.
