The Purpose of Life

The purpose of life,

Its struggle and strife,

Is to make us grow,

So we come to know

No person, place or thing

Can ever bring

Lasting joy—

They'll all annoy,

So we awaken to the One who

Is beyond our view,

Who is giving

This life a living.
