What Makes One A Sage

It's definitely not age

That makes one a sage;

It's a passion for learning,

Reflecting and discerning;

It's knowledge and insight

That shines the light;

It's love that opens eyes,

Makes one empathic and wise;

It's honesty and humility,

An aura of tranquility;

It's the spirit of sharing,

Compassion and caring,

Helping day in, day out,

Realizing what life is about.
