The Alchemist

Whatever the direction—

A seeker’s journey
must also lead inward.

Slowly, but surely,
journeying within,
one discovers
the capacity
to travel beyond—

Obstacles will arise.
Hardships will come.

Discipline will show the way.

As clay must endure fire
to attain permanence;
Life too must pass
through pain to mature.

The seeker may believe
the journey
is merely a search—

Until
somewhere along the way,
the truth reveals itself:

The quest is
not merely the path.
It is the alchemist—
transforming
the seeker
at every step.
