Remembering a Summer in Delhi1.jpg
  June temperature is rising,
Time is trembling like a leaf,
The water faucet is hissing,
Imagine another power outage,
A mustard oil adulteration:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

Take home salary is decreasing,
Traffic is becoming tricky,
DTC buses are braking down,
Time's running out on pollution,
Please god, do something quick:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

Crime in the city is rising,
Evidence is getting manipulated,
Witnesses are turning hostile,
There is a lot of soul searching,
The Supreme Court is intervening:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

It's impossible to travel in style,
Sell a house for a small profit,
Open a large amount fixed deposit,
Send a child to a convent school,
The income tax office will send a notice:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

If you buy a BMW or Mercedes,
Open a glitzy jeweler's shop,
Or manufacture paan-masala,
You will get your son kidnapped,
For a ransom of a crore,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

Employ a male or female servant
Without a proper police inquiry,
Keep gold and money in home lockers,
Chances are your house 'll get burgled,
Your family murdered:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!

June temperature is rising,
Time is trembling like a leaf,
Malaria and dengue are increasing,
Imagine another investment scam,
And an unstable coalition government:
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya,
Mar-gaya!
