Silence

  There was an utmost silence,
The silence of sorrow,
The silence of pain,
The silence that made me realize
That my life is in vain.
Hopes were lost,
Dreams were shattered,
Misfortune held my back,
And my life completely weathered.
But in that silence,
I heard a knock.
A knock that opened all the locks.
The lock of my aching heart,
And my gloomy soul.
All the sadness was gone,
And came back the hopes.
My joy was such one could ask for fleece.
But it was sure that the silence,
Now turned into Peace.
