Silence

  A kind of hush descends
On the dusty, drowsy village.
The lazy drone of a bee punctuates
The flirtatious whisperings of the breeze
As it caresses the leaves.
Alone
She sits enveloped in the shimmering heat
While slowly, imperceptibly
Silence swallows these lulling sounds.
And slower yet
That subtle Silence engulfs her.
She melts into it till she is SILENCE itself:
SILENCE vibrant with the music in her soul
SILENCE sonorous with the promise of REALISATION!
