Theme: Afterlife

The Awakening

The Awakening1.jpg
When sleep takes possession of the body and mind
Consciousness experiences a cataclysm
The waking world becomes unreal.
To fill up the empty world of sleep
It begins to dream dreams
And thinks them as absolute truth.
When they are also broken
It wakes up in a different world
And accepts it as true
The certain truth disappears
Into an uncertain realm
And I wonder
If my life is full of such delusions
Waking up being struck by death
If this world suddenly crumbles down
And I see things in a different light
Shall I take them as true?
Shall I remember
This was the truth that was in my mind
In another time?
