When silence ceased at the break of light,
when the bird began its distant flight,
when sunlight glittered upon the hill
and gold filled your window sill -
I would think of you.

When darkness slowly filled the air
and emptiness would stand and stare
at the broken fragments of my mind,
floating around, as they merged to find
solace - with thoughts of you.
