  You have begun your journey
I have ended mine
Mingling thus we keep the stream flowing.
You have a home where candles burn
You have friends
For me there is darkness of night
And the starlit open skies.
You are on the land
I am in a sea -
You are at rest
But I only drift.
You build but I break
In hopes and fears your heart is tremulous
But I have lost all fears.

Translation of the famous song – Tomar holo suru, amar holo sara/tomay amay mile emni bohe dhara – by Rabindranath Tagore. Best recording of this song is by Debabrata Biswas. The original with its swaralipi or notation is at http://www.rabindra-rachanabali.nltr.org/node/6294
