What Do You Think?

What do you think of it all?
This life and this daily grind
Occasional sniff of the fragrant wind
And the restlessness of the mind

The circumstances bury you
Under the debris you suffocate
Pockets of air and rays of light
Are hallucinations of some unstable state

Within this limited enclosure
You make yourself comfortable
Readjusting your hopes and dreams
By redefining what is attainable

The effort to break free is made
Possibly in some earlier state
The unrelenting pressure from all sides
Crushes the will to vacate

All left now is to sit and snicker
At people struggling for their right
I do not know which way is better
To accept defeat or put up a fight
