Hold my hand Lord I beseech you
Harbor me from this raging lava
The tempestuous surge
Of unbridled emotions
Has impacted my very soul

I need your sweet grace, your strength my Lord
As the fury sweeps away my peaceful haven
There is a light at the end
But the tunnel is sinister and ghastly
Bend on me your merciful gaze
Lest I flounder in the condensing maze

Gently lead me to the Light that is You
Loosen the icy grip of fear from my heart
Enkindle my Spirit with the fire of your Love
Ensconce it forever in your steadfast embrace
Lord hold my hand, I pray
Let me not stray.
