Where Bunnies Hop

  It is a paradise
When the bunnies hop
In the carrot field
Sneaking and hiding hoping and eating
When they get close and touch
Each other where the dreams
All quiver and shine
Like the first dew drop
Like the first rain
Like the first rainbow
Like the first desire
They are helpless and scared
They are in love and are
So perfect together
Few hops few desires few chews
And the evening comes
The winds are strong
The Gardner stalks them away
The jealous world
Loves no lovers
Yet the best moments of life
Are wild and tender and
Wet and green
And the world knows
Nothing of that joy
