I always thought she was a man
with her dark sudden tan

Her legs long and lean
turned a bit inward
at the knees

She spoke of dramas
Marilyn and queens
and drinking ambrosia
from a cool gushing stream

Her voice light and breathy
at times slid an octave below

She exuded an un-defined sex appeal
and soon vanished before I could learn if she was real
