Change Needed

As I lay alone on my Prickly bed,
Lifeless thoughts crept into my head.
Decided to soothe my mind with a song
And so, I slowly turned the radio on.

Right song, it turned out to be
As my heart swayed with its melody,
But still, my heart was no more light
As the song faded into the fading night.

The song died to let the silence swell
And my mind suddenly rang a bell.
It was time I changed the cell.
It was time I changed the cell.
