Never have I heard the song of the gusts
I have walked under fall's glory before
But now I hear the heartbeat of the fallen leaves
My heart converses with every smiling flower
I don't turn away from the anointing of the rising earth Dewdrops,
faint mists and moist fragrant breezes
All drench my soul
The stars have never shined so bright
The sky never seemed so reachable
And never before did I soar with the birds in that sky
Now the sun begins to signal the end of another day
The horizon alive with swirling dust from the feet of the returning cows
But never before has my heart danced to the tune of the cow bells
The world is such a beautiful place
Never did my heart know that truth
