Cinders

The cinder block of life is radiant without flames
It is hot and glows, yet devoid of flames.

There is no cruel consuming fire
of ambition or vain desire.

Yet we must always know
that even cinders can cause an inferno.

Cinders though they burn in silence,
they are as hot as the flame of violence.

Even if they cower behind debris of ashes
their glow never wears out nor washes.

Hot cinders as such, must be handled with care
for they can burn as though destiny's glare.

Such cinders of life seldom show
their potent luster, yet silently glow.
