Mornings I go looking for him
Seeing him glitters my eyes
In armchair he sits devouring books
My calls were answered with a smile
dewdrop still in my troubled days

Noons and evenings together spent
below the huge tamarind tree
opened up world of tales
me a child, awe and wonder
hear with a playful smile
Don’t know I loved him then
You my sole soul in solitude
