I came to stay here,
With nature so near.
Pollution I fear.
The clean air,
Here everywhere.
The trickling stream,
Seems like a dream.
The twinkling light,
Seen throughout the night.
The emerald hills,
Freshness in one’s heart fills.
The people so simple,
Honesty in their hearts ample.
Life here so good.
Living with nature’s mood.

The times are changing,
The pollution raging.
People striving,
Commercialism thriving.
Cutting each other’s throat,
Over a few currency notes.
Life here so contented,
The very idea now rejected.
The hills stripped,
The balance tripped.
A life which is tense,
Is just beyond the fence.
Nature’s beauty will not stay
If things go away.

Stop this crime,
Before we run out of time.
