To a friend that is one of a kind
A friend that is unique
A type of friend who is hard to find
Her name’s Veronique

An amazing spirit
A striking heart
She is trustworthy
She is smart

She eases my pain
Dries my tears
Shows me the light
Alleviates my fears

A warm smile
That touches deep within
She makes me want
To live life and WIN

Someone I can talk to
Her compassion is known by a glistening glow
Just by sparking her remarkable light
The whole world will know

What an amazing person she is
And friend I shall never forget
And although its goodbye for now
I’m blessed we met

You were made for great things
Many lives you will still touch
God bless you my love
For your gift which is such

Go on, live your life. I’ll miss you babe
Always and forever

I had almost given up on being able to enjoy poetry. Incapable of producing anything worthwhile myself, and being completely confounded by modern-day verse, I was pleasantly surprised by this offering of yours. It has rhythm and rhyme, and puts across with elegance, what it has to say.

It is with great difficulty that we find such friends / companions in life....but to hol on to them is the real test!!....Im glad you have found such a friend big sis.
