Divine Music

My mind wanders;
Caught in the midst of a turbulence,
That afflicts my mind;
Oppressed by conflicting emotions,
That lurches my inner soul;
In an agony of a mind-shattering dream,
Aimlessly tossed as a ship,
Lost in a stormy sea;
Saved at the last moment,
By divine music;
That seems to float down from above,
With a soothing effect,
That calms my mind;
As if Lord Krishna,
Has played the flute;
That cleanses my mind,
Back to reality;
A sound of music,
Never heard of before;
Harmoniously played,
I do not know from where;
But I do know,
It was like nothing,
I have heard before;
Music that was so divine.
