Rapture of Sailing
|

I sail at eventide
Not far from land
Listen to the water swishing
As boat breaks through saline
I skim in silence
Silver thoughts with wind violin
Easing my displeasure
With gentle dreams
I love the foamy sea
With its emotion rushing in
The soothing siren's call
No longer pierce my ears
I only hear the sails singing
To capture and breeze therein
So I may continue to dream
With rapture of sailing. |

This is a BEAUTIFUL poem, Maria. Makes you just want to get on that boat and go sailing. What freedom!!!
I can so sense the water and air and peace!!
