New Bridge, Sangam Boloji.jpg

When the sun has fallen
Behind the distant trees
And pilgrims have left
The curving shores,
You can hear between
The deferred sound of waves
An archetypal silence
That dispossesses you, and
Leaves you with a feeling
Of wanting no more.

Comment The image and the words - an expression of ineffable peace...glad to have stumbled upon the poem this morning. Thanks.
