Sun rises every day
Admire its first ray
Gazing through the window
Enjoy it kissing the meadow
Freshness in air is lovely to inhale
See it illuminate the hill and vale
Yellow streaked with pink and gold
Absorbing warmth after the night cold
Golden lining of the clouds in the sky
Sight to watch and a feast to the eye
Multicolored patterns quite grotesque
The waves flee, to make it picturesque
Overnight, it wore a lovely silver shawl
Disrobing it all, new rays started to crawl
Bathing fresh in sunlight, in its nude blue
Shows off the colors, all that it could accrue
