  Ever since they
came face to face
with the harshness
of some bitter truths
in reality's eyes which
shredded them
into million pieces
turning them into
specks of dust,
THOSE DREAMS -
the most colorful
and the most beautiful of them
that were woven by
the loom of
my hopeful heart -
NO MORE
ADORN MY EYES.

And my ever hopeful heart
thinks
it is not the time to
brood over the loss
BUT the time
to open my eyes wide
and awaken
in the morning of
new insight and begin
weaving some
NEW BEAUTIFUL
COLORFUL DREAMS
of possibilities and
new hope
to ADORN MY EYES
for
eyes would be
nothing but
barren and parched holes
without
the flow of
perennial
stream of dreams.
