Glowing Shadows

Light glows once again
In quiet shadows,
Dark crevices,
Of forgotten faces,
Landscapes, seasons,
Temperatures and fragrances,
Illumining bygone days
Calling constellations
Olfactory sensations
Intellectual residues
Small afterthoughts
Actually recreating
The foot beats
The narrow passages,
In beige-brown
Momentarily overshadowing
The present with chiaroscuro
In a kaleidoscopic stillness
Of glowing woodcuts.
