Even if you don’t want him
He will be always there
Even if you push him far
You will find him always close by your side
In the daytime I lost that dearest one
But I got him back when the night was dark
You may not see or touch him
Turning towards him
Spreading it wide
Keep your heart always awake
You will hear his words among the stars
In the morning you will see him
Like drops of dew
Smiling among the flowers
You will find the tears that I shed for him
Sparkling on the petals of my muse in bloom
In all my songs he flares every moment
And in a steady kindly light
He always shines before my eyes.

Translation of the love song – Na chahile jare paoa jay teyagile ase kachhe – by Rabindranath Tagore.
