Taste of Pain

My swollen eyes will tell if you see
What you mean to me,
Clouds of despair float in my mind;
To me destiny seems unkind.

My ingenuous love defeated by fate
Always gets in return endless hate.
My soul loves yours ad infinitum
And you think it’s worthless, it’s numb?

Years of love I hold in my heart
Not sure when did it all start,
As a return gift you gave me this ache
To believe everything in this world is fake?

From my heart a cascade of blood smears
As if a troop of militia hit it with spears
Oozing my tears mixed with taste of pain,
Will I ever get back my smile again?

Comment You shall... to hold a rose bud at times one is pinched by the thorns, too. The flower and the thorns grow on the same brach... the ache of separation is the fruit of love, it seems. Good thoughts and well composed. Love and regards.
