It’s the end of January
The month that healed our sores,
And the burns of our toxic pasts,
Making us yearn for each other,
Letting us feel our wildest dreams.
I remember the day when you said
“Another peg and I will lose control”
And how I wanted to say
“Then please have another peg
And let your emotions flow”,
Silently I kept thinking-
Make me feel like a complete woman
Through your touch, your hugs.

Yet I kept quiet and smiled,
Waiting for the right time
When you’ll naturally be carried away
Without any ‘drink’ like intoxication.
When forgetting the whole world
You will let your love flow for me
And never leave me alone.
January brought sweet surprises
And made us realize the depth of love
Hope all the coming months
Be equally mesmerizing!

Comment beautiful rupradha, you know whenever i read you, i try to feel the pain you describe, and today when i read this, i felt the same pang, but then when i read your answering comment which said, that the characters are fictional, i just felt little sad and more relaxed. sad because, i thought ohhh...isnt this beautiful love story of her own, and then i felt relaxed, chalo good, rupradha is not facing so much pain in love....well..wishing you luck with your beautiful art of writing and also for the love which will certainly pass your ways someday..lots of love..tc

Comment Thanks a lot Sir! You are truly inspiring. This is just a poem and the characters are fictional. :)

Comment There is nothing in this world more intoxicating than love... touch and hugs are symbolic relationship between a flower and a butterfly! Well, may your months to come add sparks to your life.
