Two Words Washed Away Forever

I wait for you each evening
Although just an aunt are you
To hold you is to feel comfort
To play with my friends in front of you
Is joy that gives me a good night’s sleep!??

I wait for you each evening
Although you are just an aunt
When you don’t drive in for want of time
I feel unnerved by the event
That brought me to this home.

Crushed to death were my parents I love
The impact was so they could not be unearthed
I bleed within when my friends call out ‘Amma’ ‘Appa'
I have but you dear Aunt
I, however, can never ever address you ‘Amma’
A bleeding heart will I ever remain?
