A Non-poet's Poem

It shall not be correct,
for sure, be incorrect,
if one calls me a poet;
for hardly I can rhyme,
the units of meter
rarely I can define...

Alliterations not aware of,
imagination, metaphors,
similes or images
are beyond my reach -
not mastered any
in spite of efforts many!

Philosophy is not my cup of tea,
instead my simple words
decorate dreams
in her dolphin eye...

I am not a poet
though she is my poem,
I am not a magician
though she is my magic,
I am not a singer
though she is my music...
