When She Beckons

The divine muse beckons again
She lifts me up on her wings
To travel far and wide
When the soul touches the moon
To bathe in joy

But that’s not all
When the heart runs away to a distant land
She holds the mute tears
Then they shine in the words they live
When the sun slips down and the stars sparkle
Like the memories of yesterday
She strings them all together
That is when a world comes alive
And the word lives on…

Comment A very philosophical poem, Madhavi. Well composed!
