both black
arranged
lean

as
the lush
languid green
of ripe
August vines

like swallowed
potent wine

as lovers lithe
& flushed fine
flowering

passion ready
twined as
flamed fluid

the scene:
follows their
low audible
thrill

while the slack
cat curls
purring
