Nature's Poetry

The grains of sand,
slipping through my fingers
Refusing to hold on
I open my hand and let go
They’re free

Within minutes
the sun writes poetry in the sky,
takes a bow
The waves reach out to its rhyme
Lovingly caress each other
My melancholy blues recede
with each rise and fall
It's music to my soul
I’m free
