That I should say a miracle,
I had half believed it to come true,
yet sharp at four clock on that day
when the sun was on the western sky,
a new sun rose on my horizon;
dressed in lovely blue she caught my eye...

Overawed by her sweet smiles,
when I stood in the glow of her beauty
I knew not what to do... at my wit's end
I felt a new awareness within me!

In the small pool of my heart I felt
as if thousand lotuses blossomed at the same moment,
I was caught as a bumble bee
and hardly before me what lies I could see!

It is as if the seer saw the unseen,
the painter found his touch,
a poet got the perfect rhyme
and for a poor fellow like me
it was the dawn of a sublime time...
