A tear glistened on her cheek
As she stood in her garden
The sunshine picked it up
She felt a strange ray upon her
Her burdens seemed to lighten
And the tear evaporated slowly
She began to see light again
Darkness was no longer upon her
She will never know the reason
But she could only hazard a guess
Her recently deceased mother
Was showering her with love
Sending blessings from above.
