Remember the night when we were partying,
Drinking like crazy and dancing in ecstasy,
And then when all were out of the room but we,
I embraced you tight and whispered in your ears,
What I feel for you and how much I love you,
And you gently replied “I know, I know”,
Then I cried on your shoulders for a long time,
Groaning “I can’t live without you”!

Remember the afternoon when you were with me,
We listened to “3 Doors Down” and “Metallica”,
You stared at me time to time with amorous eyes,
I blushed red like an apple and felt my heart bump,
You made me sing with the microphone aloud,
And took some snaps of me with your camera,
We spent the afternoon together in sheer delight
Before leaving, in the stairway, you gave me a beary hug!

Remember those golden days we have spent together,
Either in each others' arms or in laps in pure joy,
Remember the steps we danced, the songs we sang,
The chats we had done, the food we had shared,
Remember the hide-n-seek we had often played,
The hours we had ambled in the shopping malls,
Remember those beautiful moments of our lives
That we shared depending upon each other?

Comment Rupradha, three cheers for narrating the fine-tuned adolescent love... For a moment I felt like moving the wheel of time back to join you both uninvited. But didn't. I liked your 'gush of love' (Uchhwasit prem). Thank you.
