Theme: Hatred

Leave

If you want to leave, leave,
I won’t fall on your feet
To plead you to stay with me,
So just go, you are free.

I had enough of your torture
I am no more your slave.
You choose your own trail
I’ll choose mine without fail.

Sometimes I feel like a fool
That I trusted you for so long,
You who snatched away my joy,
And used me just like a toy!

Finally I can see the reality
How you have played with me;
Now no more tears, no more fear,
My vision is now totally clear.

I am least bothered about you,
You who deceived me so much,
Tell me why should I care
After knowing what you really are!

Comment Beautiful expressed honesty of feeling. 'Tell me why should I care/After knowing what you really are!' Is it that we must finally love only the worthy object of our love? Consider that God loved us while we were sinners: St Paul (Romans 5:8)

Comment Sir, I feel everyone of us should respect love and those who betray us are free to leave.

Comment Rupradha, your poem reflects a new trend, where love is a bussiness, too. 'No give, just take' attitude has ruined many young lives. Hope, people respect love.
