A Pen and a Poem

As long as I have a pen in my hand
And a rhyming verse in my head
I know that life will never be dull
I will notice the sun and the stars
And forget difficulties & life's scars
But the day I find that have neither
Is the day that I very seriously fear
For then I will see only dark clouds
And dream of ghosts in white shrouds
Life will be sad and no longer fun.
